Seeing a concert in a movie theater was pretty surreal. Seeing one
on New Year's Eve was even more so. Our group hung out in the back of
the room where we had the aisles to ourselves. Beth, glowsticks in hand,
looks strangely out of place in a southern Florida cinema house. Jill
grooves behind her while Carmen takes a rest. The venue was the Carefree
Theater, and it couldn't have been more aptly named.
Below left, Josh hugs Beth at the stroke of 2002. His face sums it
up. On the right, Jill, Miguel, Beth, and I pose smile by the movie's
advertisements. Strangely enough, Beth and I are "Now Playing"
in New York City, while Miguel and Jill are a "Next Attraction."
Coincidence? The classic shoe shot lies beneath.
