| On the way to the North Shore of Tahoe to see the Hawaiin funk-trance
band Lost at Last, the sun set along the western coast. The inverted clouds,
low-hanging above the Lake and below the Sierra Mountains, cast a magical
glow over Tahoe. My new digital camera worked wonders with the long exposure,
soaking in the rich colors of the scene. Below left, Beth sits on the
rocks by the shore. Below right, the giant rock, sacred to the indigenous
Americans, shines with the headlights of the cars entering its tunnel,
carved by the unholy white men. |
